A note from Libby

My love,
come be cared for.

Before the holiday gatherings, the planning, and the very familiar pull to make everything lovely for everyone else, I want us to have some time that belongs to us.

If you’re used to being the woman who remembers what everyone needs, I want you to imagine a few days where someone has thought about what you might need. A warm meal. A massage. A long soak. Women to laugh with, and permission to take some time to yourself without having to explain it.

I’m inviting a small group of women to join me at The Pond in coastal Maine. I’m Libby Bunten, a trauma-informed somatic embodiment coach and the founder of Self Approval School. We’ll gather with nourishment at the center of our time together, and enough breathing room to notice what we actually need.

You can arrive tired. You can arrive delighted. You can arrive with absolutely no idea what you need, except a few days away from being the woman who handles everything.

I would love to have you here.

Love, Libby

Let the place
hold you, too.

An off-grid waterfront property tucked into the woods, with a comfortable guest house, a wood-fired sauna, and room to settle into a slower rhythm.

The feeling of our time together

What happens when you have room to hear yourself?

We’ll root our time in nourishment, turning inward, and connection with other women. You don’t need to know anyone beforehand. The invitation is to listen to your own pace as we gather.

01

Nourishment you can receive

A bed to come back to, breakfast, dinner, and snacks, and time to enjoy the property. Let being cared for take up some space.

02

Room to turn inward

Our somatic embodiment work will have room for reflection and integration. There is no requirement to arrive with a breakthrough already planned.

03

Sisterhood, in person

Come as you are, whether you arrive on your own or with a friend. There will be time for conversation, laughter, and getting to know one another without pressure to share more than you want to.

04

A rhythm with breathing room

We’ll shape the details around this small group. Rest, connection, and your own yes and no belong in the experience.

The season & the sky

A moment for
listening inward.

As the days grow short, we’ll draw on the astrology of this timeframe as a symbolic companion to our gathering. The themes offer questions to sit with, alongside the wisdom of your own body.

Astrology is a reflective lens for this retreat. You don’t need any astrology knowledge to participate.
